It's Spring

Hello everyone,

I feel I should be welcoming myself back instead of y'all. I'll say it nonetheless: welcome back!
You see that picture up above? Oh, yes. That, my friends, is a real birds nest. No worries--nothing was living on the inside. That is a simply preview of my senior pictures.

Wait. What?

Yeah. I'm graduating high-school. The date is set, the pictures are taken, and the planning has begun! I will be graduating with my bestie, Maddie. She and I have known each other our throughout our high-school years and then some. It is only fitting. I am super excited to be done and at the same time becoming ever more aware at how fast time moves. Just yesterday I was thirteen and playing Golde in Fiddle on the Roof.

Hey look! It's Maddie and I... four years ago... We don't even look like that anymore.

Did y'all know that I'm not involved in theater in the least anymore? I have, however, taken back up painting in the style of impressionism. I love it wholeheartedly.

In other news, I have started my final session with Regent as an Early College student. I have been officially accepted as a full-time undergrad there and will be taking online classes. Internet college is amazing. I can't complain. I'm still going after my BA in English with a Creative Writing Emphasis. I'm not as interested in photography as I once was... however, I like it well enough to not use the auto setting. So there.

I'll also be a legally defined adult this summer. Huh.

I plan to blog more and perhaps even give to book reviews/summaries in the near future.
